I am a beast, caught on a page in one defiant moment,
Shattering a numb-white world with nothing but frozen silence.

I am a crisp-dead flower in a vase shattered as stars,
Yet unbroken in another glance.

I am a prisoner fingernails tearing the stagnant flesh,
And finding nothing more than mist to meet my rage.

I am a dying, silver-scaled wonder, frozen under ice,
Stripped of armor, and protected by ice-cold friends.

I am in the coffin with her, holding gentle hands,
But she is ash, she is the wind, she is gone.

I am the dark inked beast on a sheet of paper,
Caught in a roar that will never be heard.


So, had a bad summer....Someone died that....Well, you know how it is. Or I kinda hope you don't......But this is kinda what I feel like now.
